As a b40 Data Custodian, you will partner with Enterprise Data Governance (EDG) to lead the team that brings data systems under governance with the data policy within your domains/business units. You lead the implementation of data policy and standards for the Physical Data, including Metadata, data quality rules, lineage, transformation, implementing technical controls, and remediation of technical data quality issues. You have the opportunity to partner across business units, enterprise technology teams, and product/platform teams to define and execute strategy, driving the consistency, usability, and governance of our data assets for the respective business unit.

Minimum Qualifications:

Qualifications - External
Overall leadership, oversight and monitoring of databases and execution of processes to bring data under governance (e.g., system of record vs authorized data source definitions, purge policies, data mapping, identifying data management roles, documenting data and classifying systems etc.)
Develop the framework to execute system certification and associated change management activities (e.g., system certification registration, data management requirements, technology enhancements/remediation, etc.)
Develop the framework to define, document and implement the Data Quality Controls and Enterprise Data Quality Scorecards to identify data quality risks
Influence and collaborate cross functionally to monitor, and rapidly mitigate data quality risks for critical data within your domain/ business unit
Partner with the business and lead the strategy to define and document Technical and Operational Metadata for the critical in their respective systems
Lead the collaboration with data owners and users to modify or implement new repeatable and reliable businesses processes in order to implement truly effective data management
Develop and produce key metrics scorecards and program status communications for the full suite of teams within Data Office
Partner with legal, compliance and operational excellence to account for and uphold diverse privacy and compliance requirements across geographies. Ensure appropriate protections for data integrity, privacy, and regulatory compliance, including assurances for the validity of different potential analyses
Own end to end execution of key reporting and control processes related to data
Some Qualifications may include:
8 - 10 years of direct work experience in large scale/enterprise data projects, with at least 4 years of direct experience relating to creation and execution of formal data governance and/or data management programs
Proven track record of understanding business challenges and strategies and connecting those to data, data systems and systems capabilities
Strong working knowledge of current and upcoming data governance, data management and data product techniques and trends, with a point of view on the evolving concepts and best practices
Senior level program management experience, with stakeholders across a diverse, global set of business units
Demonstrable experience of driving meaningful improvements in business value through data management and strategy
Ability to work with white space to design and execute solutions to solve complex challenges
High-caliber communication skills, both in terms of preparing and delivering a strategic vision and updates to large groups and senior leaders
Ability to put enterprise thinking first, connect the role's agenda to enterprise priorities and balance the needs of customers, partners, colleagues & shareholders.
Demonstrated learning agility, ability to make decisions quickly and with the highest level of integrity
Willingness to test, learn, fail and improve is critical
Must have a positive, collaborative leadership style with colleague and customer first mindset
