Branch Operations ManagerBorder Construction Specialties, a division of the newly formed partnership between White Cap/Construction Supply Group (CSG), a leading distributor of specialty construction materials in the US and Canada"-- - -with 87 overall branches is looking for a Branch Operations Manager to oversee their Phoenix, AZ branch.The Branch Operations Manager oversees all administrative, personnel and internal functions of the local branch. Provides strong leadership to assigned staff to meet and optimize established levels of business performance objectives, service, productivity, and quality. Maintains positive employee morale, while servicing our customer at the most economical cost. Supports the Branch sales plan for growth and margin improvement.Duties and Responsibilities: Management of the day to day business operations including, but not limited to,Opening and closing the location, scheduling to sales demands.Providing daily direction to team for task-oriented duties and projects throughout the facility.Ensure paperwork flow to corporate (accounting) is consistent and within company policy.Hold team members accountable to performance expectations and company policies & procedures.Create and maintain a positive and safe working environment for all employees.Lead branch sales efforts by Coaching sales team on sales skills and processing transactions.Providing clerical support functions including distributing literature, vendor info, etcActing as point person for local vendorsMaking decisions on daily sales challenges.Supporting customer service ideologies.Responsible for inventory control and management by ensuring the proper stock and availability of products to an agreed upon budget.Ensure cycle count processes are in place and monitored.Responsible for system maintenance including level, class, and contract pricing with support from region and sales leadershipManage expenses as a % to sales within budget.Point person for A/R corporate credit communications within the business unitOther duties assignedManage warehouse operations including shipping & receiving, equipment and facility maintenance, rentals, product placement, shrink, etc.Job Requirements: Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience, preferred5+ years' experience in branch operations preferred5+ years' experience in management preferredStrong aptitude for accuracy as well as outstanding customer service skillsStrong Business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, leadership techniques, production methods, and coordination of people and resources.Strong verbal, written, analytical, persuasion and interpersonal skills.Strong time management and overall organizational skillsDemonstrate teamwork, leadership and flexibility.Analytics and strong computer proficiency would be importantCSG is an Equal Opportunity Employer M/F/D/VJob Type: Full-timeBenefits:401(k)401(k) matchingDental insuranceHealth insuranceLife insurancePaid time offVision insuranceSchedule:Monday to FridayAbility to Commute/Relocate:Phoenix, AZ 85040 (Preferred)Education:Bachelor's (Preferred)Experience:Branch Operations: 5 years (Preferred)Management: 5 years (Preferred)Work Location:One locationCompany's website:Work Remotely:No
