A locally-owned and operated Car Rental Company is looking for an individual to perform a variety of clerical and customer service duties in its Phoenix office. The primary duty of this position is to answer phones, providing car rental rates and information, but also requires some filing and data entry responsibilities, as well as running errands, and delivering cars.The successful candidate will:Have knowledge of car rental operations and the mechanical operation of cars would be a plus. We will train.Knowledge of automobiles, such as makes, models, parts, functions, etc.Be able to manage stressful and unusual situations while maintaining good customer relationsBe comfortable with limited staff in this small officeBe able to shift gears easily and quicklyRequirements:Ability to work a multi-line phone systemExcellent understanding of the Greater Phoenix Area with the ability to give directionsAbility to speak and understand EnglishAbility to multi-task in a fast-paced environmentAbility to communicate well both verbally and in writingWillingness to train through observation in an informal environmentMust have reliable transportation and valid driver's licenseMust be promptThis is NOT a sales position.MUST BE WILLING TO WORK ONE WEEKEND DAY (all hours worked over 40 are paid at one and a half the hourly rate).Apply in person between 10am-4pm at 2934 E.
