Job Description:
We are looking for self-motivated and safety-conscious
candidates who would like to join our production team in our
Buckeye, AZ location! New employees can earn 60K in total
compensation when working at Canam Steel Corp for a 40-50 hour work
week. This includes the base rate, shift differential, overtime,
retention and production bonuses. There are additional ways to earn
including referral bonuses and mentoring incentives. Position is
full-time with benefits! 2nd Shift 8 hour schedule: Monday-Friday
2:00 PM - 10:30 PM 9 hour shift schedule: Monday - Thursday Night
shift - 3:00 PM - 12:30 PM Friday Night shift - 2:00 PM - 10:30 PM
Mandatory alternating Saturdays Night shift - 2:00 PM - 10:30 PM
*Must be able to work all shift schedules Assembles steel joist
components ready for final welding; performs such work consistent
with corporate mission, values and department's financial
objectives. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Sets up jigs, reads and interprets
shop drawings necessary for such work. Moves parts into position.
Aligns parts. Tack welds or clamps parts into position ready for
moving along conveyor to final welding area. Perform other
job-related duties as assigned by supervisor including, but not
limited to, cleaning, metal scrap removal and other joist
assembly-related activities. REQUIREMENTS: No experience necessary
. On the job training provided . Manufacturing experience
preferred. Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out
written and oral instructions. PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Frequent
communication with others to exchange information. Frequent
repetition of motions that may include the wrists, hands and/or
fingers. Frequent moving about to accomplish tasks or moving from
one worksite to another. Frequent lifting or moving objects up to 5
0 pounds in all directions. Constantly remaining in a stationary
position, often standing or sitting for prolonged periods.
Constantly thinking and processing information. Constantly
maintaining concentration and focus on tasks. WORK ENVIRONMENT:
Manufacturing floor with machinery. Exposure to airborne particles,
loud noises, and extreme heat and cold. Use of personal protection
