Job Description Job Description Dolphin, Inc. is seeking an
Industrial Automation and Controls Technician that has knowledge
and ability to maintain, troubleshoot and repair automated
manufacturing machinery. Have a strong knowledge of Allen Bradley
and Siemens PLC’s, various Safety Controllers, Scanners, ABB and
Allen Bradley VFD’s. Experience, Knowledge, Proficiency and Ability
to Troubleshoot, Maintain, Manage\Edit\Create Programming with
ABB\IRC5 6 axis Electric Robots would be Highly Desired. Shift:
This is a full-time position (40 hours a week). 4 days a week, with
over-time Friday mornings on a rotating basis with other
maintenance staff. Monday-Thursday 12:00PM-10:30PM. Dolphin, Inc.

off YOU WILL: Read and understand electrical, mechanical, and
hydraulic system prints/drawings and schematics Troubleshoot and
repair electrical and control issues on various production
machines, advise staff on any mechanical issues discovered to
facilitate mechanical repairs. Develop, design and install various
changes to machine control systems as needed to improve operational
performance or correct operational deficiencies. Involvement in the
setup and startup of new machines. Provide control system support
to production lines including automated, semi-automated and manual
processes. Ability to maintain, troubleshoot and repair various
types of industrial machines. Perform preventative maintenance of
equipment and facilities, as assigned. Assist maintenance
technicians with controls and electrical systems troubleshooting as
necessary. Ability to train, coach and mentor less experienced
technicians. Continually maintain a clean and safe work
environment. Follow safety procedures including lockout, Tag-out
and adheres to proper PPE. Full-time position requiring regular and
consistent attendance. Other duties may be assigned by Management.
YOU HAVE: An Associate’s degree or certificate in Engineering from
a properly accredited college/university or trade school, plus 5
years’ experience in Industrial Robotics and/or Automated Control
Systems; OR equivalent combination of education and experience.
Must have own hand tools, multi-meter, amp probe, cart or toolbox.
Excellent oral and written communication with analytical,
interpersonal, and team skills. Experience identifying,
maintaining, troubleshooting, programming, and designing HMI and
control network components. Experience identifying, maintaining,
troubleshooting, and modifying Motor Controls including motor
starters, Variable Frequency Drives, DC drives, and standard
electrical components. Familiarity with programming software such
as RSLogix5000 studio, FT View, and other controls software
platforms. Industrial electrical hands-on experience and
troubleshooting, including 480V 3-phase, 110 VAC, and 24VDC
systems. Ability to coordinate a high level of activity under a
variety of conditions and constraints. Must have knowledge and the
ability to use small hand tools. Must possess an intermediate level
of computer literacy, including MS Office: Outlook, TEAMS, Word and
