Essential Functions / Responsibilities: - Create detailed manufacturing drawings of fasteners based on industry specifications and customer requirements
- Collaborate with engineering team to revise existing technical drawings to correct discrepancies and make improvements
- Assist in the development and maintenance of drafting standards and procedures
- Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders to address design requirements and modifications -
- Safety Sensitive Position
- Other duties as needed or required Work Environment: -Primary work environment is the office and the production floor.

• Able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
• Able to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) through the entire shift.
• Ability to be aware of surroundings for safety concerns.
• While performing duties of this job the employee will be required to frequently stand on their feet for extended periods of time. Occasion stooping and walking will be required.
• Employee maybe required to lead production shop tours.
• Employee will have meetings in the shop requiring the wearing of personal protective equipment.
• Ability to assist a machine operator to understand process flow.
• Ability to be aware of surroundings for safety concerns.
• Able to operate office equipment such as computers, copy machines, etc.
• Able to sit for prolonged time periods plus occasion walking to stooping. Required Skills and Qualifications: - Proficiency in 3D CAD software and drafting tools (Autodesk Inventor preferred) - Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Outlook, etc..) - Basic understanding of engineering and manufacturing principles - Attention to detail and accuracy in creating technical drawings - Strong communication skills - Associate degree in drafting or a related field preferred Special Requirements: -Safety Sensitive: This job is designated by Valley Forge & Bolt Mfg.
