As an Advanced Mechanical Design Engineer--- Test Facilities, you
will support Honeywell Aerospace, Engines and Power Systems - Test
Services to deliver innovative testing solutions that meet the
evolving needs of our new products. You will work under limited
supervision and alongside some of the world's most talented
engineers. You will contribute to the development of Honeywell's
next generation Gas Turbine Engines, Electrical Power Generation,
Hybrid Power Systems, Hydrogen Fuel Cells, Mechanical actuators,
valves, and heat exchangers for Aerospace by designing test
facilities and equipment needed to test these products.

You will be part of a group of highly committed professionals who
provide expertise to ensure the success of complex engineering
projects and programs. You will interact with internal customers
and external Engineers and Contractors in order to facilitate the
completion of test equipment and facilities for product development
and production testing. Be a future shaper. Primary work location
is Phoenix Arizona with occasional travel to other Honeywell
Aerospace Test facilities (Tempe, Mexicali, Torrance), Suppliers,
Contractors, or Customer sites for consulting.

Key Responsibilities--- Design, plan, and execute projects for test
facilities and equipment.--- Create test facility specifications,
estimates, schedules, and CAD designs.--- Support Health Safety &
Environmental and OSHA standards--- Ensure test facilities comply
with Industry Standards.--- Propose technical and process
improvements. --- Complete facility drawings in AutoCAD or Siemens
NX.--- Present designs to leadership and customers.--- Establish
and follow Project Management methodologies.--- Coordinate with
suppliers and contractors.

U.S. PERSON REQUIREMENTSDue to compliance with U.S. export control
laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. citizen, U.S.
permanent resident, or have asylum or refugee status in the
U.S.
--YOU MUST HAVE--- Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution
in a technical discipline such as science, technology, engineering,
mathematics.--- 4+ years of industry experience with Mechanical
Engineering, Facility Construction or Maintenance.
WE VALUE--- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution in a
technical discipline such as Mechanical Engineering.--- Working
knowledge of OSHA safety and environmental standards.---
Familiarity with applicable building codes and standards.---
Working knowledge of compressed air generation and distribution,
cooling towers and process water, vacuum, fuel distribution,
electric motors, dynamometers, and industrial controls.---
Experienced in system layout, equipment sizing, selection and
specifications.--- Proficiency with AutoCAD, NX, and Microsoft
Office software.--- Knowledge and experience with Teamcenter
configuration management.--- Ability to collaborate and communicate
with engineering teams, system owners, technicians, engineering
consulting firms, suppliers, and contractors.--- Ability to make
timely decisions with a sense of urgency to keep on schedule.---
Capability to follow procedures and guidelines to ensure efficiency
on given project tasks.--- Self-motivated and able to work with
little supervision.--- Professional Engineer license a plus.
