As a--Lead Certification--Engineer (TSO Specialist Mechanical
Systems/ODA Engineering Unit Member), you will provide compliance
expertise and certification oversight for the development and
certification of new and modified products. You will collaborate
across Honeywell Aerospace Technology engineering teams to create
and certify products and systems that meet the evolving needs of
our customers. You will participate with the engineering
development teams in all phases of product development leading to
successful certifications and will be a coach and mentor to less
experienced engineers.
The ideal candidate has a commitment to aviation safety, technical

is a self-starter, possess a bias for action, pays attention to
detail and can follow through to completion, is comfortable in a
decision making role, is dedicated to continual process
improvement, demonstrates personal and professional integrity, and
has strong oral and written communication skills, is able to work
across functional boundaries at multiple levels, and can establish
strong working relationships within the FAA. Ability to travel up
to 25%. This position will report directly to the Sr. Technical
Engineering Manager of Certification in Phoenix, AZ
