Engineering Supervisor is responsible for the direct supervision of
the NPI manufacturing engineering department and their activities.
The NPI Engineering Supervisor will also establish priorities and
provide technical guidance to the engineering staff and other
functional departments to ensure compliance to customer and
corporate requirements. Supervisor, Engineering ESSENTIAL
DUTIES:Supervise NPI manufacturing engineering teamTrack and
support development complete through processing and completion of
First Article Inspection Report completionInterface directly with
customers on technical and quality discussions on NPI / development
partsProvide technical liaison support with customer as assigned by
managementConfers with customers and engineering staff concerning
product design and tooling ensuring efficient production
methodsDetermine processes, identifies the materials, and supplies
to be used. Designs and builds appropriate fixtures necessary for
efficient and cost-effective manufacturingDevelop new part
estimates & quotationsProvide technical guidance (product and
process) to all functional departments as requiredManage product
change process and manufacturing engineering team
prioritiesEstablishes customer and internal engineering change
orders (ECOs), processes and incorporates the changes, and ensures
changes are implemented.Oversee department and corporate training
activitiesLead engineering technical reviewsConduct corporate
mandated safety awareness trainingManage document control and
product configuration utilizing company ERP systemsIdentify and
recommend appropriate staffing levels for engineering
departmentAssure department conformance to ISO procedures and FMI
established protocolsSupervise process improvement activities and
cost reduction projectsLead design reviews for new product
introduction (NPI)Manage customer collaboration portalsLead complex
projects to support company directives as assigned by
managementComply with applicable environmental, health and safety
laws and regulations, Company policy and accepted safe work
practicesExecutes necessary precautions to ensure safety and
compliance with Company, OSHA, and other standards and
regulationsPerform additional related duties as assignedSupervisor,
Engineering EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:Bachelor's or
Advanced degree in Engineering6-8 years of experience in the
precision manufacturing industrySemiconductor manufacturing /
process knowledgeEquivalent combination of education and
experienceRead, analyze, and interpret common industrial,
manufacturing, and technical procedures, schematics, diagrams,
drawings, and blueprintsWrites reports, business correspondence,
assembly instructions and procedural manualsAbility to effectively
communicate with all levels of the organizationComputer literacy
including, but not limited to, Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint,
Project, & CAD softwareOrganizational, analytical, and planning
skillsAbility to organize and manage complex projectsAbility to
create and present presentations to large groups of
peopleSupervisor, Engineering PHYSICAL DEMANDS WHILE PERFORMING THE
JOB:While performing the duties of this job, the employee is
regularly required to stand, sit, walk, balance, stoop, kneel, and
crouch.The employee frequently is required to use hands to handle

OF THE JOB:The physical environment requires the employee to work
in a normal office setting with occasional visits to the
manufacturing floor and certified cleanroomWhile performing the
duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to moving
mechanical partsThe noise level in the work environment ranges from
quiet to moderateThe employee will occasionally be required to use
personal protective equipment to prevent exposure to hazardous
materials commonly used in a manufacturing environment.
