Join a Force for Good.This position is not eligible for Visa Sponsorship.POSITION SUMMARYAs a Sr. Specialist Network Engineer, youll act as the subject matter expert to deliver, sustain, deploy, and retire Data Center and Cloud network infrastructure in the AMS region (North and South America). Well count on you to manage multiple technical areas in the Nestle Regional and Global Data Center Networks from a technical expertise point of view and with the coordination of third party service providers. Youll be responsible for operational service management processes to ensure quality, efficiency, productivity, and agility goals are achieved. Working closely with global ITP network teams and other business IT teams, youll provide support to stakeholders within the AMS market.This is a position is based in Phoenix, AZ.Ensure the delivery of efficient and secure IT operations, support IT systems that fulfill the needs of the business, and provide input to the development team, technical lead and peersOversee the support processes that include incident, problem, change, configuration, and event managementEnsure IT strategic service partners provide the required level of service, system performance, and functionality required to meet business commitmentsSupport the implementation and management of quality and efficiency improvements of IT service delivery, to drive value and supportSupport market and project testing; support specification, configuration, and sustain activities, utilizing 3rd party services as directedRun small-scale projects (managed work activities) for the deployment of functionalitiesResponsible for operational compliance of all technology-related issues across IS/IT, including information security, privacy, business continuity, identity management, user access, and data integrityRequirementsBachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, business administration or related field, or equivalent work experience5+ years of enterprise level experience supporting, deploying, and executing preventive maintenance in a mission-critical LAN (local area network) and 1+ year of experience supporting network connectivity to and within Cloud environments (Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform)3+ years of Network Design and project deployment experience3+ years of demonstrated experience supporting and maintaining Cisco hardware/software, switching and routing in on-prem datacenters3+ years of experience working with Network Load balancersOtherExperience working in Agile/Scrum framework is preferredExperience working with Firewalls is preferredAutomation (Ansible and Terraform) experience is preferredExperience working with or developing Network monitoring tools is preferredUnderstanding of OSI network model, Ethernet, and TCP/IP to perform and analyze packet captures is preferredDont meet all the qualifications listed under other? Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting.
