ABOUT THE ROLE
Honeywell Aerospace's Health, Safety, Environment, Facilities, and Business Resilience function provides global leadership and governance for HSEF programs deployed at 50 manufacturing and repair and overhaul locations. As a Senior HSE Engineer, you will be a member of the Operations Excellence and Shared Services team and together we will plan, execute, and continuously improve the management operating system for our function and deliver exceptional services and programs to achieve HSEF objectives at our sites and for our business. You will utilize your knowledge of program and project management, process improvement, and data analysis to improve the quality, speed, and productivity of our operations. You will have direct interaction with plant leadership teams, and with HSEF leadership at the Aerospace and Corporate levels. This role is eligible for hybrid work mode.--
Key Responsibilities

• Lead several elements of the ISO-based HSE management system and identify and execute on opportunities to improve it.
  
• Lead development of the Annual Operating Plan (AOP) which sets targets for leading and lagging indicators for the business units and sites.
  
• Serve as an Aerospace focal for the software platform which is used company-wide for incident reporting, inspections, compliance assessments, action tracking, and metrics data collection.
  
• Produce dashboards and reports to monitor and measure performance and drive action.
  
• Lead and support projects which improve regulatory compliance programs.
  
• Lead planning for various types of audits, including oversight of budgets and schedules.
  
• Participate in audits to identify compliance gaps and improvement opportunities.
  
• Assist with the implementation of the Maricopa County Travel Reduction Program for 5 sites in the Phoenix-area.
  
• Be the Aerospace representative on HSE Management System teams and provide input on policies and procedures.
  
• Support shared service programs including FAA drug and alcohol compliance, contractor safety qualifications, and expense and capital budget management.
  YOU MUST HAVE
  
  • 3 years' experience with HSE programs and regulatory compliance programs
    
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
    
  • Must be a US Citizen due to contractual requirements
