begins with you. About this role: Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead
Infrastructure Engineer in the Digital Technology and Innovation
group which supports evolving digital platforms and enhances
integration of the innovation pipeline into our customer-facing
capabilities. In this role, you will:
- Monitor and troubleshoot issues during monitoring calls after
major releases and deployments
- Investigate and troubleshoot Java memory leaks, Java memory
hangs, JVM crashes and other app-related issues, and work with
development partners, customers and/or vendors to resolve
- Review SACM findings to be remediated before they go to
consequence model (CM) as escalations
- Support F5 LTM/ GTM/ APM, Firewall upgrades, Firewall Rules
implementation and certification (twice a year), DNS, Akamai GTM,
Virtual Front Door (VFD) - tcpdump and analysis using
Wireshark
- Lead complex initiatives to develop infrastructure to provide
solutions for business applications
- Participate in various projects intended to continually improve
or upgrade the infrastructure
- Evaluate internal and external software solutions which could
be leveraged to meet target state architecture goals
- Review and analyze high impact outages to ensure the proper
processes and procedures are in place to avoid problems in the
future
- Design, build, deploy and maintain infrastructure solutions
through collaborative efforts with the team and third party
vendors
- Design, code, test, debug and document programs using Agile
development practices
- Make decisions in technical designs, implementation plans and
identify project risks and resource requirements
- Direct the daily risk and control flow of operations, focusing
on policies, procedures and work standards to ensure success
Required Qualifications, US:
- 5+ years of Technology Infrastructure Engineering and Solutions
experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination
of the following: work experience, training, military experience,
education
- 5+ years analyzing, troubleshooting and helping to resolve
application environment, ability to communicate clearly with
various technology partners across LOBs
- 3+ years of root cause analysis using tools like Java Flight
Recorder, Splunk, AppDynamics, Elastic and other tools like
Threadump analyzer, Heapdump Analyzer and TCPdump Analyzer
- 6+ months experience integrating and securing private and
public cloud environments such as Azure, Google Cloud Platform
(GCP), AWS, Pivotal Cloud Foundry (PCF), etc.
- 2+ years network support for distributed systems,
synchronous/asynchronous messaging, and networking protocols
- 2+ years of experience communicating and presenting complex
information in a manner that persuades, educates and enhances
understanding at all levels Desired Qualifications:
- Ability to learn new technologies or evolving existing
technologies used within the group and enterprise Job Expectations:
- Requires 24 X 7 X 365 production support
