Job Description:

Sr. Engineer wanted by GBT US LLC in Phoenix, AZ. Designing sustainable software products and developing continuous build and rigorous testing; Functioning as a core member of an Agile team, driving user story analysis and elaboration, and designing and developing software applications along with successful implementation in supporting the product; Working on a specific platform or product and as part of a dynamic resource pool assigned to projects based on demand and business priority; Exploring opportunities to adopt new, innovative technologies that can help business functions to provide quality deliverables in less time; Performing hands-on software development and testing, developing API specifications, conducting code reviews, testing in ongoing sprints, or performing proof of concepts/automation tools; Developing solutions using Pig, Hive, Spark, Hbase, Java, Python, Flink and Big Data technologies; Working with the business to develop the stories and follow them up with design, development, testing and implementation; and Leading team member(s) in development and testing by conducting peer review for design and code for quality implementation.
Must have a Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Cyber Security or a related field plus three (3) years of experience in the job offered or related occupation. In lieu of a Master's degree plus three years of experience, will accept a Bachelor's degree plus five (5) years of progressive experience. Must have three years of experience with Big Data, Hadoop, Hive and SQL; two (2) years of experience with Python and Java; one (1) year of experience with Pig and SPARK. May work from home within commuting distance from office. $136,552 - $170,000.
