We are a leading global aviation supplier designing, manufacturing, and distributing advanced electronic systems, products, and services to commercial, defense and space industries. This position will fulfill a role performing emissions and bleed air testing of Honeywell gas turbine engine and auxiliary power units. You will work closely with the emissions and bleed team and internal Honeywell customer to execute testing under direct supervision. Aspects of the job include preparation and installation of emissions analyzers into mobile test facilities, coordination and execution of testing, and communicating (verbal and written) the results to the internal Honeywell customer. Responsibilities will also require active participation in and support of the Lab group's activities, goal execution, and maintaining high performance metrics. This role may also support activities in other areas of the Chemistry lab when workload allows. MUST HAVE: Bachelor of Science degree

  • Must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident due to export restrictions WE VALUE:
    • Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Physics, or related discipline
      • Good analytical problem solving and decision-making skills
      • Excellent demonstrated written and spoken communication skills
      • Software/networking experience
      • Familiarity with the use of MS Teams and MS Outlook
        • Proficiency with MS Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
          • Familiarity with emissions and bleed air analyzers
          • Familiarity with oil and fuel and/or other chemical test methods
          • The ability to independently and effectively interface with others.
          • Affinity for hands-on lab work, data analysis, and data management
          • Possess team member attributes that will complement the current Emissions and Chem Lab team members in achieving high performance goals.
          • A highly task-oriented individual with a high tolerance for rapidly changing priorities
            • Contributes to technical and process improvement initiatives.
              • Able to efficiently resolve ambiguous project objectives where significant complexity exists. Additional Information
