The candidate for this job will help expand our knowledge and capability of turbo machines and other aerospace hardware used for both military and civilian applications by overseeing development programs that involve testing and troubleshooting many aspects of Aerospace hardware. Key Responsibilities

• Designing Electrical solutions to unique problems, transforming concepts and ideas into AutoCAD Electrical drawings that will be fabricated into hardware: panel and enclosure layouts, cable and harness assemblies, and a bill of materials
• Designing test cell control systems from concept, to drawings, to construction and commissioning.
• Designing and troubleshooting start systems, load banks, and dynamometers
• Troubleshooting electrical issues or modifying facility screens to add capabilities or fix issues
• Responding quickly with quality solutions to support our customers YOU MUST HAVE
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering
  • 8+ years' experience in testing environment overseeing testing of hardware WE VALUE
    • Experience with PLC's, including GE or Emerson PLC's
    • Experience using AutoCAD Electrical to design start systems and loading systems, like eddy current and water dynos
    • Analyze output from designed loading systems
    • Working knowledge of industry electrical standards (UL508A, NFPA79, IEC, NEC)
    • A good grasp of electrical engineering concepts, principles, and practices.
    • Experience operating standard test equipment: digital multimeters, oscilloscopes, and other electrical measurement tools
    • Experience with programing languages like Ladder Logic
    • A work ethic that places safety and data quality as the highest priorities
    • Proven ability to work with minimal direction in a cross-functional team environment
    • Good communication skills, both oral and written
