We're looking for team members who want to be part of building the greatest local sports company in the world.Role MissionWe're significantly expanding our Engineering team to address our ambitious product goals. As a leader in our Platform Engineering team, you'll drive projects to transform the underlying infrastructure and core systems of the platform and enable the growing engineering team.What You'll Do

• Function as a technical lead on a variety of Platform projects, including but not limited to:
  • Infrastructure design & maintenance
  • Microservices system architecture
  • Observability & metrics analysis to expose performance bottlenecks and inform redesign or refactoring efforts
  • Processes & tooling to enable CI/CD
  • Lead and participate in ongoing SRE operations & on-call duties
  • Define and recommend software engineering best practices and technical standards for optimal stability as well as security in production environments
  • Share your experience and knowledge by mentoring other engineersWho You Are
    • At least 6 years of professional software engineering experience
    • Knowledge of and experience in designing & maintaining cloud native systems
    • Knowledge of and experience in SRE strategies
    • Exposure to and familiarity with DevOps best practices
    • Proven technical leadership skills & experience in medium to large scale projects
    • Familiarity with core RDBMS concepts
    • Understanding of core Java programming concepts
    • Comfortable with the Linux command line and shell scripting
    • Must be a team player with a strong, self-managing work ethic
    • Strong oral and written communication skills
    • Experience with GCP
    • Experience with MySQL
    • Experience in modernizing and transitioning monolithic applicationsCompensation & Benefits
