Job Description The Opportunity The Department of Humanities and Communication at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, Prescott Campus, seeks to fill several non-tenure track assistant professor positions with a preferred start date of August 2026. These positions are permanent, full-time, 9-month appointments with a comprehensive benefits package. The Department of Humanities and Communication is currently home to 10 full time faculty members and delivers a large number of general education courses to all majors on campus. Qualifications Required Education and Qualifications: ___________________ The successful candidates must be able to teach either composition or communication, and preference will be given to those who 1) have prior experience working with STEM students or at a STEM university; 2) can teach in additional categories of the humanities; and 3) are collaborative team players. A Ph.D. in the broad areas of Communications and Humanities is preferred but candidates with Master’s degrees and prior teaching experience will also be considered.
