Occupational Therapist (OT) - Phoenix Early Learning Center Campus
(K-3rd Grade), 26/27 School Year and a $3k Sign-On Bonus! $3k
Sign-On Bonus and up to $1,000/year in non-taxable reimbursement

transformational experience by expanding unique individualized
learning programs for autism charter schools. An Occupational
Therapist (OT) to assess, diagnose, treat, and help students with
sensory processing disorders, fine motor delay, and visual
perception concerns in the new state-of-the-art autism center.
Under the supervision and direction of both Campus and Charter
Leadership, the Occupational Therapist's responsibilities include:
Implement student engagement strategies that ensure adequate
progress toward goals. Conduct assessments/evaluations and collect
data on students Write, implement, and progress monitor
individualized communication goals for students on your caseload.
Engage in data-driven instruction decisions with the entire team.
Implement Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) strategies throughout all
practices. Duties: Develops treatment plans, interventions, and/or
educational materials for the purpose of meeting individualized
student objectives and ensuring compliance with regulatory
requirements. Provide OT services to students with IEPs. The number
of students varies depending on workload and possible COTA support.
Possible supervision of COTAs with the implementation of OT
services in the classroom, depending on caseload numbers Write and
attend MET and IEP meetings as the SLP service coordinator.
Evaluate students in the area of speech and language as determined
by the MET team. Implement communication goals identified on
student IEPs Consults with teachers, parents, other personnel,
and/or outside professionals for the purpose of providing requested
information, developing plans for services, and/or making
recommendations and/or referrals. Follow school-wide systems,
rules, and positive behavior interventions Deliver services in a
classroom integration model Coach classroom staff and SLPAs on the
implementation of speech/communication goals Support for staff and
students with Augmentative Communication Devices Support classroom
curriculum as it relates to language acquisition Communicate
effectively and proactively with students and families Responsible
for paperwork compliance Accountability for growth and proficiency
in IEP goals Participate in annual and ongoing staff training
Regular and predictable attendance is considered an essential
requirement of your position. Complete Medicaid billing Additional
duties as assigned. Supervisory Responsibilities: May be required
to coach, monitor, and mentor a Certified Occupational Therapist
Assistant working with students with disabilities. Benefits: The

and attendance Minimum Qualifications: Experience delivering
services in a school setting in a classroom integration model is
preferred Ability to approach situations with optimism and
perseverance Excellent verbal, written, and organizational skills
Minimum of two years OT experience in a school setting preferred
Experience and training in Applied Behavior Analysis(ABA) preferred
Valid Arizona IVP fingerprint clearance card Required: Arizona IVP
Fingerprint clearance card Masters Degree or higher Certified OTR
in the state of Arizona ADA AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS: Positions in
this class require: stooping, crouching, reaching, standing,
walking, fingering, grasping, feeling, talking, hearing, seeing,
and repetitive motions. Light Work: Exerting up to 20 pounds of
force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently,
and/or a negligible amount of force constantly to move objects.
