The technician will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing residential elevators, stair lifts, and platform lifts. This hands-on role requires strong mechanical and electrical aptitude, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety and customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities: Install residential elevator systems and lifting equipment according to technical drawings, blueprints, and manufacturer specifications Perform maintenance checks, safety inspections, and emergency repairs on installed elevator systems Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues Work closely with homeowners, contractors, and project managers to ensure timely and quality installations Maintain accurate service records and submit detailed reports on work performed Follow all local, state, and federal safety codes and company protocols Provide courteous, professional service to customers during site visits Travel to job sites within the service area; occasional overnight stays may be required Qualifications: Ability to read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and installation manuals Valid driver’s license and clean driving record Comfortable working in crawlspaces, attics, and tight spaces Must be able to lift 75 lbs and work at heights Interested in hearing more?
