Job Description:

Senior Electrical Preconstruction Engineer at Clayco, Inc. in Phoenix, AZ. Applies the principles of construction management to provide high level support to the project staff to ensure quality and timely execution of all phases of design/build projects. Evaluate the invitation to Bid (ITB) scope pursuit projects. Monitor bids for subcontractor outreach. Estimate internal electrical take off. Evaluate and recommend bids for subcontractors. Resolve issues between field team and preconstruction efforts. Assist with electrical take offs, change orders, and owner requests. Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Construction Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related field; and 2 years of relevant experience. Must also have 2 years of experience with the following: estimating and project management experience; interpreting technical drawings and scope of work; and constructability review of technical documents including drawings and specifications.
