Job Description:
MV Transportation, Inc. seeks a dedicated Mechanic Level B to
join our maintenance team at our busy transport hubs. As a renowned
leader in providing comprehensive public transportation services,
we rely on the exceptional skills of our mechanics to ensure the
safety and reliability of our fleet. This role focuses on
performing preventive maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on our
diverse fleet of vehicles, ensuring they meet all safety and
operational standards. Perform routine vehicle maintenance and
repair tasks as assigned in accordance with manufacturer and
company standards. Diagnose mechanical issues and promptly repair
to reduce vehicle downtime and disruptions to service. Conduct
thorough inspections and safety checks on vehicles. Maintain
accurate records of performed maintenance and repairs. Collaborate
with other team members to promote a safe and efficient work
environment. Adhere to all local, state, and federal regulations,
along with company policies. Strong knowledge of diesel engines and
various vehicle systems. Proficiency in using diagnostic equipment
and tools. Ability to read and understand technical manuals and
schematics. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to
detail. Strong organizational and communication skills. Medical
Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance 401k Valid driver’s
license; CDL preferred. ASE Certification in Diesel Mechanics is
highly desirable.
