Financial Reporting Accountant II

Job Summary:
This position will prepare SEC filings (Form 10-Q/Ks) and internal reports for quarterly & annual reporting and prepare a comprehensive set of work papers for external auditor review. You will complete special projects as needed, including reconciliation and analysis of accounts as part of the company's month-end closing process.

Responsibilities:

- Assist in drafting footnotes, MD&A or other assigned sections of the company's Form 10-Q/K or other SEC filings, and the preparation of the company's quarterly earnings release

- Work with Auditors and prepare a comprehensive set of workpapers supporting the company's external and internal reports

- Prepare monthly closings for preparation of journal entries, account reconciliations, and variance and account analysis

- Follow revised accounting guidance that could affect current reporting and/or disclosures

- Collect and analyze data to assist in the preparation of company's external filings and for internal management report

- Assist with other duties as required

Requirements:

- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or closely related discipline and three (3) years of Accounting experience; OR

- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or closely related discipline and 1 year of experience as an Accountant for a public accounting firm

- Knowledge of US GAAP and accounting guidance

- Expert in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

- Working knowledge of WDesk, SAP, and HFM (preferred)

- CPA Certification (preferred)
