Job Scope:
Leslie's is the market leader in pool supplies and we have big growth goals. Marketing has a big role in driving that
growth. We are in the process of modernizing our marketing and customer analytics capabilities. We are looking
for a CRM Analyst to join us on that journey. If you appreciate the challenge of analyzing customer journey, driving
results, and building new capabilities, this is a unique opportunity. The CRM Analyst will serve as a key member of the Leslie's Marketing team playing in significant role in insights,
marketing efforts and business strategy. Essential Functions: --- Manage a cross-brand/cross-channel customer file ensuring accuracy and up to date reporting--- Work with CRM Manager and Analytics Team to identify different customer profiles and segments, and
carry out the optimization of CRM/marketing activities across those groups.--- Work with team to deliver insights and data-driven campaign and journey recommendations--- Develop CRM activities to drive customer loyalty and engagement--- Identify and analyze key trends and factors that influence behavior and value--- Initiate analysis and efforts that will generate insight or efforts that will add value to the customer
relationship--- Work with Analytics Team to conduct assessment of current programs and promotions to determine
efficiency and profitability--- Serve as an owner of customer database with a responsibility for the maintenance and management of
customer data and integrity--- Provide timely and insightful reporting of KPIs--- Collaborate with Analytics/marketers on modeling and analysis of tactics/campaigns to determine the best
mix of channels and messaging--- Partner with cross functional stakeholders to develop and execute campaigns that optimize customer
loyalty and lifetime value--- Develop models to predict customer response rate, frequency and lifetime value--- Develop, identify, recommend, and implement improvements to CRM processes Essential Competencies:
Data Mining & Analytical Skills : Advanced understanding of SQL with the ability to develop complex from-scratch
queries. Should understand retrieval of large data sets and the analytical activities required to validate findings and
present impactful recommendations. Knowledge of R and Python preferred. Technical Expertise : Experience working with large relational databases. Ability to communicate effectively with
technical personnel, including programmers and analysts. Basic knowledge of programming logic and database
design. Ability to fully understand table structure, table relationships, etc. Experience with creation and production
of both static and dynamic reports. Experience with visualization tools Tableau or Power BI preferred. Project Management Skills : Manage post campaign analytics and other data related components of marketing
projects. The ability to manage multiple projects and deliver results in a timely manner.
Communication Skills: Ability to effectively communicate analytical findings and goals of analytical projects.
Serve as key BI and IT liaison. Establish effective field and corporate communications regarding campaign
reporting. Leadership and Teamwork : Require the ability to give/take clear and consistent instructions
Problem Solving and Decision-Making: Excellent problem solving and decision-making skills to identify risks,
provide market insights, and draw valid conclusions from findings using available data. Qualifications: --- A bachelors or equivalent in Computer Science, Statistics, Math or related field preferred.--- 3+ years of relevant CRM, Statistics, Consulting, Marketing Analytics, Data Engineering or Data Science
experience, preferably in related areas such as customer analytics, marketing campaign analysis, CRM analysis
or other marketing areas. Knowledge of the cross-channel and cross-platform marketing and media landscape
and experience evolving analytics and measurement capabilities strongly preferred.--- Experience with statistical languages (SQL required, R/Python preferred) to retrieve/interpret large data sets.--- High Computer Proficiency (Access, Excel, Word) and experience with enterprise / POS systems.--- Experience with synthesizing large scale data sets to generate insights and recommendations--- Strong problem-solving skills, ability to structure problems into an analytics plan--- Track record of using data and insights to drive change and implement new initiatives--- Strong communication skills, ability to clearly articulate insights to a wide range of audiences.--- Strong organization skills and ability to manage multiple projects and work with multiple business partners.--- Knowledge of the cross-channel and cross-platform marketing and media landscape and experience evolving
