Visit our website for more information: -https://www.coloscapesconcrete.com/Office Manager is a hands-on, full-time position performing day-to-day duties, including organizing, overseeing, and coordinating daily administrative functions to support various areas within the company. The Office Manager provides office strategies to manage workflow, support the Human Resources (HR) Department, and direct various support services. -Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Manages and organizes office operations and procedures, such as word processing, bookkeeping, preparation of payrolls, flow of correspondence, filing, requisition of supplies, and other clerical services.
  • Coordinates activities of various clerical departments or workers within departments.
  • Evaluates office production, analyzes, and makes recommendations regarding operating practices and procedures to include personnel, workflow, cost reduction, recordkeeping, performance standards, equipment, and supply utilization, to ensure smooth and efficient office operation.
  • Establishes uniform correspondence procedures and style practices.
  • Reviews clerical and personnel records to ensure completeness, accuracy, and timeliness.
  • Prepares activities reports for guidance of management.
  • Prepares employee ratings and conducts employee benefit and insurance programs.
  • May prepare organizational budget and monthly financial reports.
  • May hire and train clerical staff.
  • May compile, store, and retrieve managerial data
  • Formulates procedures for systematic retention, protection, retrieval, transfer, and disposal of records
  • Provides general HR support:
    • Ensures that onsite functions of the office are running smoothly, and employee's questions are answered.
    • Administers policies, procedures, and programs relating to all aspects of HR activity.
    • Organizes, updates, and maintains personnel files; prepares and manages HR documents, and performs data entry for the HRIS system software.
    • Conducts the new hire and onboarding processes, reviews company policies and benefit plans with new employees and ensures accuracy of all new hire paperwork.
    • Responds to answer general inquiries regarding payroll, benefits, timecards, etc. from employees and leadership at various levels of the organization.
    • May assist Recruiter and attend recruitment/job fairs as needed.Supports teams in administrative tasks as needs arise.
    • Files and organizes other office documents, invoices, and manuals.
    • Welcomes clients and visitors to the office and assist them as needed.
    • Assist with other duties as assigned. -Education and Experience to be Successful:
      • A Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Business Administration or related field desired.
      • Five years of experience in office administration and office management required. -
      • Excellent computer skills, including a high degree of proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint -What we offer:
