Vaco has partnered with a leading company that is in search of an Interim Director of Accounting to oversee and optimize the company’s accounting functions. This leader will ensure accuracy, compliance, and efficiency across all accounting operations while supporting strategic initiatives. Job Title: Interim Director of Accounting Location: Chandler, AZ (4 days onsite) Pay Rate: $75 - $85 per hour Project Duration: 3-6 months Responsibilities Include: Oversee daily accounting operations including general ledger, close calendar, accounts payable, and accounts receivable Ensure compliance with tax laws, financial reporting standards, and industry regulations Partner with cross-functional teams to support budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial modeling Present financial performance, trends, and key insights clearly and effectively Qualifications: BS in Accounting, Finance, or related field required 8 years of experience in accounting leadership roles Background in publicly traded companies Proficient with financial systems and ERP platforms (SAP preferred) Excellent organizational and communication skills Vaco by Highspring values a diverse workplace and strongly encourages women, people of color, LGBTQ individuals, people with disabilities, members of ethnic minorities, foreign-born residents, and veterans to apply. Pay Transparency Notice Determining compensation for this role (and others) at Vaco by Highspring depends upon a wide array of factors including but not limited to: the individual’s skill sets, experience and training; licensure and certification requirements; office location and other geographic considerations; other business and organizational needs. With that said, as required by local law, Vaco by Highspring believes that the following salary range referenced above reasonably estimates the base compensation for an individual hired into this position in geographies that require salary range disclosure.
