Job Description Manufacturing Engineer \n (Aerospace & Defense
Manufacturing) \n Location: Phoenix, AZ \n Compensation: $80,000 -
$130,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications. \n
Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S.
citizenship or Valid Permanent Resident status is required. \n \n

Expectations \n Develop machining process for parts fabrication,
including fixtures, cutting tools, gages. \n Support all continuous
improvement and cost reduction initiatives. \n Prepare detailed
work instruction (MOT's), Set-up sheets and process plans. \n Lead
/ ensure the lessons learned are shared and implemented. \n
Recommend process improvements to improve quality and customer
satisfaction. \n Must have thorough understanding of GD&T \n
Advanced Engineering Software and ERP Software is preferred. \n Due
to ITAR regulations, this position requires that the employee be a
US Person (US Citizen or Permanent Resident) \n \n Qualifications
and Education Requirements \n Due to ITAR regulations, this
position requires that the employee be a US Person (US Citizen or
Permanent Resident) \n Previous manufacturing experience related to
mechanical components for aerospace preferred \n 3 - 5 years
experience with sheet metal fabrications and welding required \n
Bachelor's degree in engineering field highly preferred \n Work
onsite, in the office, sitting for up to 8 hours at a time. \n
Expert ability to read and interpret aerospace drawings,
specifications, and customer requirements, including contracts \n
Sound analytical and problem-solving skills within a production
environment \n The ability to effectively prioritize and execute
tasks in a high-pressure, deadline critical production environment
\n Ability to clearly and effectively present complex information
to all levels of employees, management, and clients. \n Strong
attention to detail, organizational, time management and follow-up
skills. \n Utilization of Microsoft Office applications including
Teams and other \n Possess a high degree of initiative and be
self-motivated, ability to work with minimal supervision. \n \n
Physical Requirements The physical requirements of this position
include but are not limited to those listed below. \n Frequent
sitting, standing, walking, talking, hearing, seeing, writing and
typing \n Occasional lifting of up to 40 pounds \n Occasional
reaching, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching,
pushing, pulling, grasping, twisting, bending and repetitive motion
\n The ability to wear proper personal protective equipment,
including earplugs, safety glasses, safety shoes, etc. \n
