Managing all aspects of cost accounting, including maintaining standard costs, analyzing manufacturing variances, and preparing cost reports.2. Assisting with the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP.3. Participating in the budgeting and forecasting processes, providing detailed financial analysis and insight into business performance.4. Conducting regular inventory audits and reconciliations to ensure accuracy and compliance.5. Preparing and posting journal entries, maintaining general ledger accounts, and performing account reconciliations.6. Assisting with internal and external audits, ensuring all financial information is accurate and compliant.7. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to improve financial processes and systems, contributing to the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the finance function.8. Staying up-to-date with industry trends and developments, utilizing this knowledge to drive continuous improvement in our financial practices.QualificationsTo be considered for the role of Staff Accountant, candidates must possess the following:1. A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a Staff Accountant role within the Manufacturing industry.3. Comprehensive understanding of cost accounting principles and practices.4. Proficiency in financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting.5. Strong knowledge of GAAP and other relevant financial regulations.6. Exceptional attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.7. Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex financial data and provide meaningful insights.8. Strong communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with team members at all levels of the organization.9. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with advanced Excel skills.
