Premium Billing Representative is responsible for ensuring accuracy
in applying payments and addressing customer inquiries related to
insurance premium charges. This role involves resolving billing
discrepancies, completing demographic changes that impact rates,
and providing excellent customer service. Strong attention to
detail, knowledge of billing systems, and intermediate math skills
are required. -This position is full-time (40 hours/week) Monday to
Friday. Employees are required to have flexibility to work any of
our 8-hour shift schedules during our normal business hours of
07:00am - 4:00pm EST. It may be necessary, given the business need,
to work occasional weekends and overtime. -We offer paid training.
The hours during training will be 7am to 4pm EST, Monday - Friday.
- -Training will be conducted virtually from your home.*All
Telecommuters will be required to adhere to UnitedHealth Group's
Telecommuter Policy.Primary Responsibilities:
- Handle payments, refunds, billing maintenance, reports, and
escalated billing concerns
- Handle employer set up, subsidies, closings, roster loads.
- Handle all billing-related escalated concerns.
- Write clear, concise, grammatically, and factually correct
letters.
- Complete transactions within established turnaround times to
meet service level targets.
- Communicate effectively with others to ensure prompt and
accurate resolution of issues.
- Work independently to prioritize and organize workload.
- Provide expertise and customer service support to insured
members, employers, and all other customers.
- Meet quality and productivity standards.You'll be rewarded and

you may be interested in.Required Qualifications:
- High School Diploma / GED OR equivalent years of working
experience.
- 1+ years of experience in premium billing, collections,
accounting, bookkeeping, OR cash handling
- Experience with Microsoft Excel (reading spreadsheets)
- Experience calculating and formulating billing amounts
- Experience with Microsoft Word (reading, creating, and saving
documents)
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Ability to work regular business hours Monday to Friday 7:00am
- 4:00pm EST. It may be necessary, given the business need, to work
occasional weekends and overtime. -Preferred Qualifications:
- 1+ years of experience with COMPAS, GPS, or other billing
system
- 1+ years of experience with the AARP Medicare Supplement
products -Telecommuting Requirements:
- Ability to keep all company sensitive documents secure (if
applicable)
- Required to have a dedicated work area established that is
separated from other living areas and provides information
privacy.
- Must live in a location that can receive a UnitedHealth Group
approved high-speed internet connection or leverage an existing

Only: The hourly range for California / Colorado / Connecticut /

residents is $16.00 - $31.44 per hour. Pay is based on several
factors including but not limited to education, work experience,
