The Registered Nurse Supervisor will oversee the Cord Blood
Programs at St. Joseph's Hospital, Chandler and Mercy Gilbert in
this position. Supervisor is responsible to manage a team dedicated
to the provision and coordination of cord blood donation as part of
the ABRC-funded AZ Cord Blood Collection Program. Coordinates daily
operational activities for the cord blood program at SJHMC and
provides team-building and mentorship to the cord blood team while
continuing to foster inter-institutional relationships with other
cord blood facilities to promote donations. Serves as a resource
and provides training to staff at this institution and other
ABRC-awarded institutions in program development and coordination.
Supports program development within the community; advances patient
awareness, integrates cord blood opportunity into daily physician
and nurse clinical education programs. We offer the following

Education: BSN or equivalent combination of education and
experience required. Three Years obstetrics or similar clinical
care experience required. Experience with program development and
community relations/networking preferred Demonstrates an ability to
continually improve performance and learn new ideas and techniques.
Human subject protection training (ex. CITI training) preferred.
Previously demonstrated teaching, mentoring and team-building
skills. Attention to detail required. Skills in the area of
critical thinking, interpersonal communication, conflict
management, problem solving, autonomy and decision making are
highly desirable. Required: Current Arizona RN license Pay
Range
$36.96 - $53.60 /hour
