looking for a Project Accountant to work with our Investigators
and/or managers to who have a high volume of grants and contracts
to provide accurate and timely financial information. The position
is responsible for all aspects of month end close processes related
to the assigned cost centers. This includes recording direct and
indirect revenue and expenses related to grants and contracts,
accruals, fixed assets and labor distribution.-- Comply with the
various reporting requirements for all grants and contracts.--
Interpret the rules and regulations for each sponsor related to the
assigned cost centers. -- Monitor and analyze the financial data to
identify action items to be communicated to the appropriate
department.-- The PA will have significant interaction with other
business development departments regarding new and upcoming
projects, as well as revisions to existing projects.-- The PA must
ensure adherence to policies and procedures and the rules and
regulations of the sponsor when analyzing and interpreting complex
transactions.-- Responsible for and have a full understanding of
the accounts receivable and deferred revenue balance for each
project.-- The PA is responsible for all activities in the Oracle
Grants Management System (GMS) within their assigned division/labs.
This includes, but is not limited to, approving and maintaining new
and existing Oracle Project and Awards, budget revisions, and
billing.-- Liaison between TGen operations and accounting
department. -- Will work with forecasting team by managing budget
information in a timely mannerPM21Requirements: -- Bachelor's in
