Position Description The purpose and scope of this position is to support Maricopa County Treasurer's Office (MCTO) in preventing mistakes or defects in the delivery of the ULITS Program and the transformation of MCTO services by assessing the quality of software deliverables. This requires skills in agile software development life cycle, analyzing Planning Increment (PI) quality inspection requirements, system software release deliverables, active participation in all phases of system testing. Duties and Responsibilities " Support ULTIS Program quality management " Support and execute Quality / Test activities " Support all daily quality activities, including daily standup meetings " Hands on software testing throughout the agile development phase and following Quality Inspection and End-To-End Testing. " Provide support for business resources as they perform User Acceptance Testing " Communicate with Quality Assurance Manager and IS leadership with quality and compliance issues " Build and execute test cases

Jefferson St., Suite 1050, Phx 23 month Contract Must be Local to AZ due to Hybrid schedulePosition Description 6 months - TEMP TO HIRE We need a skilled IT auditor to plan and complete IT audits for Valley Metro. A Senior Information Technology (IT) Internal Auditor (Auditor) reports directly to the Chief Auditor and plans and conducts complex IT audits for Valley Metro in accordance with the Valley Metro Internal Audit Plan. The Auditor ensures the quality of IT audits and participates in all phases of the audit process. The Auditor will evaluate activities, programs and departments, as well as private companies doing business with Valley Metro through contractual agreements. This work involves data analyses, conducting interviews, testing controls, and observing operations, to meet audit objectives and to assess compliance with applicable policies, procedures, laws, and regulations. The work performed supports the recommendations formulated to improve procedures, controls, systems and/or efficiency of operations. The Auditor provides training and procedural materials related to IT auditing for audit staff based on organizational and industrial standards. The Auditor will assist other team members with subject matter expertise in information technology. The Auditor will also develop written and verbal reports for the Audit and Finance Subcommittee and the Valley Metro Leadership regarding audit findings and recommendations to improve operational efficiency, standards, and the implementation of system changes.

Determines audit objectives and designs audit programs to meet those objectives based on established internal and national audit guidelines. Prepares appropriate working papers to provide supporting documentation of audit procedures performed, methodology, and results, and effectively communicates results of work through both written and verbal reports. Maintains independence and ethical standards in making decisions and recommendations based on facts. Oversees and implements improvements and best practices for increasing efficiency and minimizing risk. May supervise staff. Performs other duties as assigned. KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS: Knowledge of: "Internal and External IT auditing concepts, techniques, methods, and procedures "Internal control frameworks, including COBIT, ITIL, NIST, and similar publications, as well as general control frameworks offered by GAO, IIA, and COSO "Auditing Standards set by the IIA in the International Standards for the Professional Practice of Internal Auditing and ability to interpret and apply Federal, State, and local laws, rules, regulations, and authority policy "Familiarity with major IT computing platforms, security concepts, general controls and application auditing "Risk management as it relates to the audit field (including COSO Enterprise Risk Management Integrated Framework and the International Organization for Standardization's standard ISO 310000-Risk Management)
