Description:Job OverviewThe Financial Planning Analyst is
responsible for the administration of company-wide financial
planning process and model, including support for all functional
managers. They are responsible for creating and maintaining the
financial reports that are used to guide the company in decisions
that are pertinent to the company's financial success. They will
interact with all levels of management as well as with outside
auditors.Responsibilities and DutiesAdministration of company-wide
financial planning process and model, including support for all
functional managers. Maintenance of the company's five-year
financial projection model, including related sensitivity
analysesPreparation of periodic management reports, including
budget vs actual and sales analysis.Design, implementation, and
administration of a process to develop and track ROI of R&D
projects.Assist in budgeting, forecasting, month-end close
activities, variance analysis and reporting related to operating
expenses, Capex, and headcount.Develop an understanding of the
business strategic priorities, resource and headcount needs;
collaborate with them to execute and improve financial planning and
budgetingIdentify trends, anticipate needs, and gather business
requirements to support an evolving planning and management
reporting function that meets the needs of the usersDrive process
improvements using reporting and planning toolsProcess cost center
creation and changes, movement of cost center
hierarchiesPreparation and management of periodic and ad hoc
reporting to private equity investors.Build reports and assist with
monthly actuals-to-forecast variance analysisMonitor expense and
headcount plan vs actual, and provide analysis/recommendation for
business partners and Finance teamSupport senior management on
strategic initiatives.Support monthly accounting closing
process.Work autonomously but in collaboration with teammates and
business partnersRequirements:QualificationsBachelor's Degree,
finance related major or equivalent combination of education and
experience4+ years' experience in FP&A, corporate finance,
financial strategy/operations or closely related fieldDetail
oriented and ability to produce work with a high degree of
accuracySolid understanding of forecasting/budget accrual
conceptsIn depth experience creating and managing financial
modelsStrong verbal and written communication skillsAbility to
interact effectively with cross-functional teams and with senior
management.Sound business judgmentProven ability to collaborate
with various stakeholders and take a directed set of needs into an
executable plan of deliverablesAbility to plan, appropriately
prioritize and manage multiple projects.Openness in addressing and
resolving business issues as they ariseProlonged periods sitting at
a desk and working on a computer.Must be able to lift up to 15
