Job Description:

PDW Performance Driven Workforce is now hiring Full Time Traffic Controllers for an Automotive Tier 1 Supplier. Full Time Traffic Controllers will perform routine duties related to information gathering, radio communications, customer service, maintaining an inventory of equipment and/or materials, moment to moment risk assessment, problem solving, physical observation of tracks, spotting for high-risk events and operation of track safety cameras. Traffic Controllers may perform clerical duties and initial or sustained care of employees in the event of an emergency. This Traffic Controller position offers an AM Day shift and is based out of Wittmann, AZ. Candidates meeting the requirements below are strongly encouraged to apply. AM Day shift plus possible Overtime available.Responsibilities:Provides information to track users including weather, track status or safety situations that may ariseMonitors and maintains inventory of track safety equipment and tools including vehicles and their respective equipment and/or materials, coordinates maintenance or stocking with internal staffPerforms a variety of clerical activities, which may include typing and editing communications materials; maintaining department filing system; answering phones and taking messages; and/or, performing other related activitiesPerforms field environment spotting for high-risk tracks and operationsResponds to emergencies on or off the track according to direction, procedure, and level of trainingPerforms radio command for all tracks for access: egress, point of contact, and emergency systems; May perform point of contact duties for fire related incidents or other emergenciesPerforms real time assessments on a continuous basis for all track operations and updates track operations or mitigates conflicts to ensure safe operation for users on the tracks at all timesPerforms cursory inspections of vehicles performing trailer tow, high speed, or on a random basis for vehicles and personnel entering the track system for safety complianceParticipates in emergency drills, training, and may attend track safety related meetingsShifts:Monday - Friday plus Overtime as neededRetirees and veterans are welcome Requirements:Must be at least 18 years of ageHave a valid Arizona driver's license and a good driving recordMinimum 3 years' driving experience in the U.S.Possesses customer service principlesAbility to use a computer and related software applicationsAbility to operate modern office equipmentRadio communicationPrepare accurate grammatically correct written reportsUnderstand and carry out oral and written directions in an independent mannerMeet the physical requirements necessary to safely and effectively perform the assigned dutiesEnter data into a computerMonitor and maintain inventory and equipmentUnderstand and operate video surveillance equipmentPreferred Skills:CPR and First aid CertificationADOT Physical Benefits:Unlimited Overtime When AvailableTool Buying AssistanceNo Certification RequiredVeteran Friendly EmployerWe offer Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance after your 60 days with Performance Driven Workforce.Work with Latest Automotive TechnologyPerformance Driven Workforce is an Equal Opportunity Employer#LP123
