What this job involves:

  • Complete and support regular and ad-hoc reporting including informal and formal internal and documents, reports, graphs, charts, and presentations
  • Support team's efforts to develop efficient reporting strategies including automation and simplification of reporting processes while preserving data integrity
  • Organize and maintain team data collection, reporting and communication
  • Support cost-savings and process improvement initiatives
  • Participate in the development and distribution of best practices, process documentation, and user support materials for reporting
  • Identify tactical and strategic opportunities, gaps, and financial risks through collaboration with cross-functional teams
  • Provide accurate and relevant commentary in reporting/analysis, that fosters business insight and empowers in addressing key issues and opportunities
  • Detailed forecast analysis including Budget versus Actual spending and Forecast verses Actual spending
  • Annual budget and monthly forecast planning, preparation, and development
  • Maintain and develop complex financial models for business support and strategic decision making
  • Assist leaders in researching and identifying budget corrections and work with others to implement change
  • Special projects and other functions as required by managerSound like you? Before you apply it's worth knowing what we are looking for:
  • A Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
  • Up to 2 years of relevant experience
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Advanced MS Excel skills
  • Tableau, or MS Power Query and Power Pivot and Power BI experience preferred
  • Experience working with large datasets
  • Process Management experience or demonstrated skills
  • Ability to work independently and within a team to build relationships and interact effectively with business partners
  • High level of attention to detail and accuracy and ability to make effective decisions and solve problems
  • Strong organization and time-management skills
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Excellent level of customer service skills
  • Flexible and adaptable to tasks assigned
  • Excellent interpersonal skills / interpersonal sensitivity
