employee unity. Magellan is a place where you can thrive. Job Summary Under direction of the Policy Manager, the Policy Liaison
ensures the currency of the Magellan Provider Manual and all its
forms, attachments and other posted documents. The Liaison gathers
public comments requested by ADHS/DBHS regarding proposed changes
to the Provider Manual and other policies, and prepares Provider
Communications and Notices announcing changes to practices,
policies, procedures, the provider manual and other official
documents. The Liaison also assists in creating, distributing and
updating RBHA policies and procedures. Essential Functions: Collaborates with ADHS Bureau of Compliance to ensure the
Magellan Provider Manual is current and accurate. Distributes ADHS/DBHS public comment requests in a timely manner
to Magellan leadership, internal subject matter experts and
providers soliciting input and review of proposed Provider Manual
changes. Facilitates response efforts, meets assigned deadlines,
and prepares Magellan responses recommending modifications to
ADHS/DBHS Policy & Procedure and the Provider Manual. Facilitates inter-departmental efforts to prepare Magellan
specific language and additional guidance to update the Magellan
Provider Manual. Finalizes critical written guidance, publishes
Provider Manual updates on the web and distributes Provider Notices
announcing the changes to more than 600 staff and providers. Tracks all internal and external requests for Provider Manual
changes to ensure the Provider Manual is updated, reviewed,
approved, distributed, and posted in a timely manner. The Liaison also assists in creating, distributing and updating
well written, understandable RBHA policies and procedures that are
well written and reflective of each area’s best practices. The Liaison also assists in conducting annual policy reviews to
ensure that consistent, accurate and current written guidance is
properly developed, updated, reviewed, approved, distributed, and
posted to all appropriate locations. Recommends practice adjustments, policy and procedure revisions,
training and support in an effort to achieve full compliance. Serves as a subject matter expert and point of contact for
ADHS/DBHS regarding policy, procedure, and provider-manual related
issues; conducting research on inquiries about existing policy and
provider manual requirements. Develops and implements training regarding federal and state
compliance requirements and contract compliance. Minimum Requirements: Education: BA/BS. Experience: 5-8 years. Job Specific: Experience working with ADHS Bureau of Compliance
preferred. Computer Skills: Basic computer skills. Other: Excellent organization, time management and verbal and written
communication skills. Ability to view problems and issues from multiple
perspectives. Strong collaboration and interpersonal skills. Knowledge of organizational policies and system-wide
